We like to keep the payment of a project simple using block time. Everyone knows where they stand. Each project is going to be different from the last and so it is always easier to fit a project based on the estimated hours it might take.
There is no issue for instance purchasing a 20 hour block for a documentation project of any size and transitioning to larger block amounts which have a labor discount over 50% in some cases once some of the peliminary work is completed and we can more accurately estimate the length of time it will take..
Some of these conditions can be negotiated and custom tailored to fit in with how your business operates. Just ask us and we will always work hard to try and accommodate.
Payable In Advance - Total block time is paid in advance prior to any work taking place. Our payment terms as well as hourly rate become more favourable for larger blocks.
80% In Advance - 80% of the total invoice is payable in advance with 20% payable once the last hour has been completed. Our payment terms as well as hourly rate become more favourable for larger blocks.
60% In Advance - 60% of the total invoice is payable in advance with 40% payable once the last hour is completed. Our payment terms as well as hourly rate become more favourable for larger blocks.
Quarterly In Advance - 25% is paid in advance prior to any work taking place. If more than 25% of the hours is completed prior to the next quarter rolling over then this triggers the next payment. If less than 25% then payment is due 3 months from the last payment. Our payment terms as well as hourly rate become more favourable for larger blocks.
Expiry Date - This is the date where the hours technically expire however if there are reasonable grounds for it to extend then we are flexible. We are yet to have a block time agreement reach its expiry date with hours remaining.
Fastest Use - This is the fastest that you can expect the block time agreement to be consumed. This is due to allocation of resources on our side. If we have excess resources and your project needs more hours allocated in a shorter time then the fastest use will go down to the point where all our spare resources are consumed.
Available Document Specialist - All of our staff specialize in MSP documentation so you will always be allocated a specialist with a minimum of 8 years experience. It may however not be the same specialist each time.
Response Time - The time to respond to requests. Response times become more attractive as the size of the block increases.
Communication - Smaller blocks include all electronic means of communication including email, messanging, forms and ticketing while the larger blocks include direct phone support.
Maximum Hours Per Week - This is the maximum number of hours we aim to allocate to the project. It correlates roughly to the fastest use mentioned above. While we can increase the hours here if we have spare resources, when it comes to documentation remediation, sometimes it is better not to try and do it all at once and a slightly relaxed pace ensures sub tasks are not intefering with each other.
No Time Rounding - We do not round time on any of our block time agreements. That means if a task took 3 minutes to complete, we do not round it up to 15 minutes, if a task took 16 minutes, it does not get rounded to 30 minutes. We track our time accurately so a minute worked is a minute billed.
